LICENSING ACT 2003
Some of you may be aware that there has been concern over the future of live music in small venues because of the effects of the Licensing Act 2003. An online petition to the Prime Minister over this issue has finally had a positive effect:
There is now a consultation on a proposal to exempt small live music events from the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003 This consultation document seeks your views on a proposal to exempt live music events for audiences of not more than 100 people from the requirements of the Licensing Act 2003.
