The Hastings & St. Leonards Angling Association, Marine Parade, Hastings is looking to put music on once or twice a month. Any interested musicians please leave a demo at the bar or email with their contact details that would be great. Obviously the club being a private members club is only open for members and member’s guests but we are always looking for new members.
The Hastings Philharmonic Choir are holding a Spring Concert at St Mary-in-the-Castle Saturday 27th March at 7.30pm. Mozart Requiem plus Haydn Insanæ et vanæ curæ Ruby Hughes – Soprano Katherine Allen - Mezzo-Soprano James Greer – Tenor Alexander Robin Baker – Baritone. Katdog will be releasing a new album in March, and to raise the money to finish it, they sold space on the front and the back cover to fans, who sent a headshot photos. The album sleeve has about 50 people, passport size shots of themselves which now forms the cover. It was done mainly over facebook and gigs. The Pete Burden Organisation, which plays essentially bebop jazz, will perform at The Rooms, Western Road, St Leonards on the following Thursdays: 4th, 18th March, and 1st, 15th, 29th April from 9pm to 11pm.
